We Love Us Some Mexico

Our trip to Mexico was GREAT!  We got a little R&R, got a little sun, sipped on some fiiine tequila and hit the repeat button for 4 days...and it was awesome!  The resort we went to...The Royal in Playa del Carmen is one of my favorites.  Its right in the town and just a block away from 5th Avenue.  We walked into town every afternoon and played around..then made it back to the resort a little after dark (at the request of my mother).

Super Duper Excited

Sooo... Jamie and myself are going on a last minute vacation to Playa del Carmen!  Yay! This is where we're going...more pics to come afterwards of course. Merry early Christmas to us!!

Girls Will Be Girls

So the law school girls (plus Trish) and myself FINALLY got a little girls weekend put together after many failed attempts at trying to get the whole clan together.  We went to a little Bed n' Breakfast outside of Beorne, Tx...it was great!  It consisted of some frolicing in the field, some hot tub time, some shooting star sightings and a yummy dinner at this place in the middle of nowhere Texas (Welfare Cafe).  Love these girls! Wish we had more time to spend together.  

Where to Begin...

Here goes nothing...my first post on my new blog!  I'm super new at this blogging stuff so needless to say, it took me forever to figure even this much out.  Just a few quick things about me to get this thing started and then I'm going to go back to figuring out how to get some pictures on here. I moved back to my hometown of Lufkin, Texas a little over 2 years ago and I am a baby lawyer working for the smartest man I've ever met..my dad.  We are having a good time and I am trying to learn as much as I possibly can (sometimes he is way over my head).  I got married six months ago to Jamie Davis (Dr. Davis/James Ira/himey) and we have been busy ever since with road trips, our new house and TCU football...big shock!  We love to stay busy and love our family and friends more than anything. That's it for now!
